Nails 5

My latest nail art. A lot of people liked it, which I'm really happy about because it took me awhile to do (letting it draw in between each finger).

I used white, gray, and black L.A. art deco nail polishes to make the lines across the nail plate. It was fairly easy, just need a little bit of time to get it all done.

Fingerwave

I was trying out fingerwaves and as anyone who knows how to do them will see, I still need to practice them. Though, I must say I've gotten much better lol. I wouldn't even take pictures of my first few attempts.

Halloween Hairdo

I had meant to post this up a while ago but here it is, my Halloween hairdo.

other hair pictures

french Twist

My first try at a french twist. I placed a flower in the top of it. Its a great and easy hair style - now I just need to learn how to do it on myself.

Smaller Knitted Doll

I made another knitted doll, but this one was just out of boredom... Uh, the first picture of her, as you can see, she is without her poncho/dress. I didn't make her with arms because I thought it gave her more character, plus was too lazy. All in all, I think for a one day project it came out cute, right down to her tiny eyes. :) (About the size of my hand or a little bigger, as you see in the first picture.)

Knit pattern

I was fooling around with my yarn and come up with this cute pattern. Rib stitch and stockinette stitch (I began with the latter).

I wasn't keeping count with how many rows I was doing for each but if you do it just try to keep it about the same for each part (whether you make you rib st longer than mine or not doesn't matter, etc.) because then it wont look as nice.

If I'm not making any sense: let's say I did 10 rows of rib st and then 12 of stockinette st, keep going with the same numbers until you got it to the length you want.

My only set back was not making a border so the sides didn't curl in.

Knitted Doll (fixed)

Remember my very first post of my monkey-lookalike doll? well, I fixed him up. I removed the mouth, darkened his eyes and made new clothes. I think he looks cuter this way. I think I'm going to try my hand at making another one... that should be fun.

Nails 4

I know the picture is pretty bad, but if you look at it from far away (far away!) it shouldn't be too bad.

I painted my nails yet again, this time painting all except my ring finger that deep aqua blue kinda color. My ring finger is white with a heart jewel placed on the side <3

I have painted my nails again~
A dark blue with a black french tip. I like it, personally ^__^ reminds me of one of my favorite cartoons when I was little (Power Puff Girls)

Nails 2

no knitting again but nails~ A basic french manicure on my sister's hands, Tami, but with jewel thingies on the ring finger. ^---^ the jewels make me happy.

Nails 1

Well, I know this isn't knitting but I thought I'd post it up anyway :P
Here is my sister's, Janine, hands. I painted them a nude color then followed with a french tip lined with dark blue. On the ring finger, I lost the french tip and just painted the whole thing white and blue. Once again, I'd like to thank youtube~

Baby boot 2

I know, the picture is a little blurry, hopefully I can replace this one with a better one soon. Uh, right; its the same style as the first pair I showed you but instead of keeping the whole boot one color (white) I made it two (blue and white). Also adding my own twist onto it by trying to make it look like a sneaker in the front with a laces look.

Fingerless gloves

Okay, here is a pair of fingerless gloves I made off of youtube. The one on your right is about four stitches smaller than the one on your left (I was testing the size for my hands). Plus, I just painted my nails again today, once again thanks to a youtube video's~

Baby booties and blanket

a cute pair of baby booties I made off a site and a knit stitched baby blanket to match (I made the blanket on my own). They just came out so cute I had to share them :)

Knitted Doll

Here's my little guy (which sadly reminds me of a monkey). He was my first knitting project; taking about two months in total. It was fun and, because it was for school, I passed~

* I got it from a "Knitted toys" book.
